Suddenly it’s May and we’re right in the middle of wedding season once again. I always say that I have the best job in the world. I get to spend my day with people on the happiest day of their lives, and attend awesome parties for couples surrounded by loving families and friends.
I couldn’t be happier for Andrea and Anthony, who are getting married this Saturday! I have hit the jackpot lately with all of these wonderful couples. When you’re truly in love and you are inspired by and admired by your partner, it really shows in your photographs. Their eyes and faces light up with just a simple glance or touch. And oh my, the laughter is contagious. These two are so lovely together, it shows!
Photographing engagement sessions is one of my favorite things to do. The wedding planning begins and couples are so excited to share their stories. Capturing the engagement photos is a time when we get to have fun with the couple and tailor a session just to them and their love story. Andrea and Anthony and I had the perfect session in Ballantyne, NC. The day started out a bit overcast, but that led to a beautiful sky and a comfortable temperature. Their perfectly coordinating outfits were beautifully complemented by the park. Andrea’s sister Julie and her hubby Chris came too and were wonderful prop coordinators! Andrea is one lucky bride to have Julie by her side as matron of honor!
