We had quite the winter (and second winter) this year with a bitter cold that seemed to keep coming back for vengeance. When March rolled around I was so excited for spring and of course, the first wedding of the year!
Amanda and Jay had their ceremony in Australia a few weeks prior and then held their US reception at the Hitchin Post in Salisbury, NC. This venue has gorgeous landscaping and the perfect barn setting for all of your reception activities. They have a perfect bridal suite for getting ready and several fun spots for games and kids’ activities. Katherine at the Hitchin Post did an amazing job with the lighting and decor and DJ DMac David McDaniel kept the party going til the end. Gorgeous signs by Hint of Mint Designs accompanied the table decor. One of my favorite parts of the night was when Amanda and Jay shared the video of their wedding on a projector. They chose a delicious smoked BBQ catering menu. Beautiful cupcakes and kisses kept the night sweet. They surprised everyone with an eloquently choreographed first dance. And did I mention it snowed?
